Server log files
When you visit this website, access data is processed, as it is by any web server: the page requested, the time, the amount of data transferred, the browser type and the IP address, for example. We use this data solely to run the website securely and without disruption (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). It is not combined with any other data and is not used to build user profiles.
Media
There is no way to upload files, so no data is stored here either.
Google Maps
The “How to find us” section on the home page can show a map from Google Maps. That map is not embedded from the start: at first you see nothing but a placeholder. The map is loaded only once you click “Load map”.
With that click, your browser opens a direct connection to Google's servers. As with any page request, data is passed to Google — in particular your IP address, details of your browser and device, and the address of the page you are on. If you happen to be logged in to a Google account at the time, Google may link the request to that account. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. What Google then does with the data is beyond our control.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking “Load map”. You can withdraw it at any time: below the loaded map there is a “Hide the map and withdraw consent” button. One click removes the map again and deletes the stored value, so withdrawing is as easy as consenting. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; further details are set out in Google's privacy policy.
If you would rather not load the map, you will find our address as plain text on the home page and in the imprint. The “Get directions” button is nothing more than a link — it is followed only when you click it, and it opens Google Maps in a new window.
Doctor on call
The “Emergencies” section of our home page lists the next doctors on call for the Fügen – Stumm area. Your browser loads these dates from our own server (the address “bereitschaftsdienst.php” on this domain) each time the page is opened. Your browser does not connect to any third-party server for this.
The dates themselves come from the Tyrolean Medical Chamber (Ärztekammer für Tirol). They are not fetched by your browser but by our server, which keeps a copy for a few hours. Your IP address and browser details are therefore not passed on to the Medical Chamber — all it sees is our server.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in giving you reliable, up-to-date information about out-of-hours medical care (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No cookies are set for this, and no data about you is stored.
If the Medical Chamber cannot be reached, the page shows the most recent copy delivered with the site. The link “All on-call services at aektirol.at” is an ordinary link – it is only followed when you click it, and it opens the Medical Chamber’s page in a new window.
What this website stores in your browser
This website remembers two settings in your browser's local storage (localStorage). These are not cookies: the values are never sent to the server, we cannot see them, and they do not leave your device.
- lechner-theme — whether you chose the light or the dark theme. If you make no choice, nothing is stored and the page simply follows your operating system.
- lechner-karte — whether you agreed to load the Google map. It is set only when you click “Load map”, and deleted again when you withdraw consent.
You can delete both at any time in your browser settings (“clear site data”). Doing so also withdraws your consent for the map.
Disclosure of data
This website stores no personal data, so there is none that could be passed on.
Medical confidentiality
Data collected in the course of medical treatment at the practice is covered by medical confidentiality and by the provisions of the Austrian Medical Practitioners Act and the GDPR. None of it is processed through this website.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or erased, the right to restrict processing and to object to it, and the right to data portability.
